It lies within

Friendship is a beautiful thing,
its a special treasure that lies within,
no one can ever take it away from you,
For friendship is always there and is always true.

If I looked out over the sea in the night,
I would count the stars that shine so bright,
every star would be for a friend,
for friends are true and friendship never ends.
