I wanted to tell you just how much
this friendship we have means to me
The only way I really know how
Is to just write a poem you see
I've never written one before
that wasnt all about Him
So this will be the first time
I've written one for a special friend
Well, Jear-Bear how do I start?
How can I put into words
my appreciation for your support
and comfort when I was hurt
You have such a precious heart
and you can always make me laugh or smile
you always know the right thing to say
whenever I feel as though I could cry
From the beginning, that first phone call
I thought you just were the cutest thing
I knew I'd always be able to trust you
I even let you hear me sing : )
Its very rare that I trust someone
I have a guarded heart, you see
So you hold something very special
Because I trust you completely
Yes I know that he thinks it stupid
that I consider you a friend
because I've known you a short while
he thinks its just pretend
But I know my heart, and what it feels
I dont have to think twice
You're a special friend, simple as that
I'm glad God put you in my life
Although, if it werent for Aaron
I dont think we would have met
I guess I owe him a thanks too
I'm also in his debt
He is your annoying roommate
but hes my handsome prince
so we both put up with his crazy ways
and have been friends ever since
So,sweetheart whenever you feel as though
you dont have a friend at all
remember "Angel Eyes" is a phone call away
she'll catch you when you fall
And one more thought before I go
a little reminder for you
I'm not just your roommate's girlfriend
