I look at you,
Seeming so down and out,
It hurts me inside to see you like this,
My efforts go without.

Try as I might,
It seems so unfair,
You stay underwater,
Fighting for air.

To see your smile,
I'd do whatever it takes,
I'd dance around naked,
I'd kick in someone's face.

It pains me to see you so down,
Feeling that life isn't fair,
I try to tell you it will get better,
To come up for air.

I beg and I plead,
To show your wonderful smile,
It's like a glimpse of the heavens,
It shines for miles.

Such a Beautiful thing,
Should not go to waste,
So please my dear girl,
Come up for air post haste.

I'll say it again,
As many times as it takes,
I will always be here,
Through your troubles and heartbreaks.

Together we aren't,
But together we should be,
You and I both know,
We have a special harmony.

I'll dive in the ocean,
Ignoring the signs that say beware,
Through Jaws himself,
I'll pull you up for air.

This is kind of an inside joke thing, but I have a fear of swimming in the ocean b/c of Jaws movies as a kid heh.
