Secrets

My friends they don't know me
And I sometimes wonder why
They listen but they don't hear me
It all just passes them by

I wish that I could trust them
Tell them everything
But I know they would tell everyone
Everything about me.

So I write all my secrets in poems
I share them with the world
People understand them
But to them I'm just a girl

They don't know who I am
So I tell them everything
They just read my words
And forget everything.

That's why I write poetry
Even though it's not the best
Well its actually pretty crap
