My eyes are set upon the iced over window and my thoughts have me in a deep gaze.
I sit and I wonder, where exactly you are and what your doing.
You see,
We were together, once upon a time.
You know,
the times when we were really there for each other.
You remember,
the time when all went bad and you were there, holding me in your grasp when I needed a shoulder to cry on.
I see,
I can picture the moment, when I didn't have anywhere to turn.
I know,
that we still have our memories of when we were really there for each other.
I remember,
that day when we hugged for the very first time, the moment has me smiling no matter how bad the times were.
You care,
I know you do, I hear it when we talk, but still your presence is missed.
I care,
I have since the day we met, through all our sorrows and joys.
I love you to death, and my promise to you is that even though we are not together physically- you are always in my heart.
