A goodbye that didn't happen

I remember what you said to me last time we talked, you told me 'see you later.' And it's now later, but I wont be able to see you for a while. But when I meet you in Heaven oh how great it will be, to see your smiling face looking at me. In away I'm glad you told me 'see you later' because know I know I will see you again. So I guess in a way we had a goodbye that didn't happen.
