Thank you,
for all that you've given.
For giving hope,
when I wanted to stop livin'
Thank you for being the one,
that is always there.
The one who listens,
to all I have to share.
In the times I had nothing,
and thought all was lost.
You were my best friend,
no matter the cost.
You're the one,
who gives light to my dreams.
You also shelter me,
from remembered screams.
In times of laughter,
and times of sorrow,
You give me strength,
to face tomorrow.
What would I do,
without my very best friend?
When the shadows creep up,
and I think it's the end?
Here is tribute,
to someone I hold dear.
Forever my best friend,
through every year.
Words can't express,
the gratitude in my heart.
Telling you I love you,
is only a start.
If there was a way,
