You Are My Best Friend

You are my best friend
until the very end

Through the good times and the bad
my back you always had
You always helped me take a stand
and were there to hold my hand

You've always been able to talk to me
there was no secret key
We know so much about each other
we call both our moms our mother

But you are different from the rest
and thats what makes you the best

Because you always act the same
you have never played those games

You treat me like your friend
you never do pretend

If I am with you in a group
or if we're both out of the loop
You treat me just the same
we are a lasting flame

Because our friendship will keep burning
as we are slowly learning
One thing will never change
even if this may seem strange

Because you are my best friend
until the very end
